Katerina is a Senior Researcher at the Sør-Trøndelag University College, Tronheim, Norway on network-based peer learning systems.
In the past she worked as post-doctoral researcher in the field of computer supported collaborative language learning at the University of Luxembourg (2008-2012) and at the University Stendhal Grenoble III (2006-2008).
She is the co-founder of the e-learning consulting company Web2Learn.
This company manages two projects funded by the European Commission under the Lifelong Learning Programme, the Web2LLP project "Improving Internet strategies and maximizing social media presence of LLP projects" (2012-2013), and the LangOER network "Open Educational Resources for Less Spoken European Languages" that will be launched in January 2014 with a duration of three years.
As a researcher at the University of Luxembourg, Katerina has been the project manager of the european network LS6 "Social media and language learning: 6 key dialogues" (2010-2012).
Katerina is editor of books and journal special issues, as well as author of peer-reviewed articles and other scientific publications. She is a regular guest speaker to European and internaltional scientific events.Full CV
